For example, I continue with my daily walks, usually in the morning when my energy is a little higher, and it’s proven to be a great way to connect with neighbors who are out doing the same. According to authors William Strauss and Neil Howe in their book, “The Fourth Turning,” we are in the midst of the last stage of a cycle in American history that occurs about every eighty years called a Fourth Turning. The current cycle began around 2008 and will last through 2028 when a new eighty-year cycle begins in twenty year increments.
