Certification

Upon completion of the second year of the program, graduates can sit for Enneagram Teacher/Trainer Certification.  Students are certified by Dr. Deborah Ooten, in the Narrative Tradition.  Dr. Ooten is certified in the Narrative Tradition through Helen Palmer and David Daniels, M.D.

What are the Enneagram Certification Requirements through the School of Conscious Living?
Participation in all parts of the program
Participation in coaching supervision (1-2 sessions per month)
Completion of 20 Typing Interviews (2 taped interviews)
Completion of feedback session with coaching supervisor to review 2 taped typing interviews
Successful supervised typing interview during session 8
Successful completion of essay exam
Completion of projects (assigned throughout trainings) including:
Personal Change Project, Social Change Project, and Independent Study Project

What does it mean to be an Accredited Enneagram Teacher?
The individual has completed a course of study by an IEA accredited school and has achieved certain minimum standards of ethical Enneagram work.

What does it mean to be an Accredited School?
The International Enneagram Association accreditation serves as a mark of excellence for teachers, trainings, and schools so that people within and outside the international Enneagram community will have a way of knowing that specific teachers, trainings programs, and schools have achieved a certain standard of quality in their Enneagram work and have formally agreed to adhere to the IEA’s ethical guidelines.
