
Micky ScottBey Jones, MA
Micky ScottBey Jones (she/her) is a visionary leader in the fields of spiritual accompaniment and movement chaplaincy, and has trained hundreds of people in accompaniment, healing and resilience building in social change movements. She also has a wide range of experience in nonprofit organizations including program development, team building, events and facilitation.
Micky has a B.S. in Consumer and Family Sciences from Middle Tennessee State University, a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from North American Institute for Indigenous Studies in partnership with Portland Seminary meaning she has training in human development, family dynamics, intercultural studies, early childhood and adult education, culture and theology. In addition to academics, Micky has been trained in the spiritual, philosophical and practical aspects of Kingian nonviolence by the Rev. Dr. James Lawson (who also trained Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.) and others.
Micky is a certified enneagram teacher and coach and believes in the ancient wisdom of the enneagram for individual and social transformation. She believes the enneagram is a helpful tool for the work needed for social change, empathy and resilience building and our efforts toward justice, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
Micky is experienced in coaching and teaching individuals and groups and enjoys working with those interested in nurturing emotional intelligence, communication and understanding.
