Enneagram Emersion is an IEA accredited program, extending over a one and two year period. The seminars assist participants in identifying roadblocks present in their lives and will help those involved realize their full potential in all areas of life - work, play and self care.
An Emersion occurs when an eclipsed body reappears, moving from the shadow of the eclipse into the light. The Enneagram of Personality is used to deepen awareness and understanding of the self and the roadblocks of personality fixations in the first year of the program. The second year of the program expands the study of the Enneagram of Personality to our relationship with the world, levels of consciousness, and the Enneagram of Essence.
The program consists of quarterly seminars. The four weekend seminars each year extend from Friday evening until Sunday evening. Participants will schedule two coaching sessions monthly with Dr. Deborah Ooten, Ron Esposito, Beth O'Hara or adjunct faculty, by phone or in person. These sessions are required to enhance learning in the program and apply the teachings to one's life.
Upon completion of the second year of the program, graduates can sit for Enneagram Teacher/Trainer Certification. Students are certified by Dr. Deborah Ooten, in the Narrative Tradition. Dr. Ooten is certified in the Narrative Tradition through Helen Palmer and David Daniels, M.D.
Enneagram Emersion is a narrative tradition enneagram school - an experiential program of learning through applying the teachings to personal life and deeply listening to the experiences of others. Through this method, the Enneagram is dynamic and transformative.
